Listen within, and discern without. As you listen what is your inner heart telling you? Are you channeling thoughts of greatness, or regret and sorrow? If you were to be honest, are the thoughts dominantly positive or overwhelmingly negative?


Now think about this. Let's say you are taking a walk down the street. Can those walking pass you discern your thoughts? Are they able to tell what you are thinking? Is your face a mirror of your inner happiness and joy, or a spring of grief and turmoil?

This means that you exercise dominion over your thoughts as a king/queen that sits upon their throne. You are the the ruler. In your dominion you can decide whether to let freedom and positivity reign, or bondage and negativity to take root.

  1. Have a healthy self image- When bad thoughts try to assault your mind, see only the good in your being and focus on that.
  2. Love yourself- Love first starts with you. Be satisfied with yourself and come to grips with who you are. This is the first step towards improvement. You must first lay the foundation before you can build the house.
  3. Foster healthy thoughts about yourself- When negative things appear in your mind such as what you can't accomplish, or you're not good enough replace them with a positive thought.
  4. Choose to help others- Helping others is a wonderful way to give and receive at the same time. When you give love it is sent back to you. This helps to build a positive attitude.
